At Llandrindod, breakfast is served in the elegant dining room. The menu includes a choice of fruits and cereal followed by a traditional English or Australian cooked meal. The day is then yours either to relax or take in the wonders of the famous Blue Mountains. It is only a ten-minute stroll in one direction to the popular Leura village shops and the other direction to Gordon Falls and the Toy & Railway Museum. Nearby is Cliff Drive which gives access to numerous attractions including the Three Sisters. For the more energetic there are plenty of bushwalks nearby where you can absorb the grandeur of the Blue Mountains.

The garden has different attributes depending on the season. The autumn hues are quite spectacular; the deciduous trees allow maximum penetration of the winter sun; the bulbs - tulips and daffodils - the azaleas and rhododendrons and the flowering cherry trees deliver an artist's palette of colour in spring; and the leafy greens in abundant shades provide a welcome coolness in summer.
